For the chocolate cupcakes, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease a muffin tin with 12 wells. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt into a large bowl.
Mix in the brown sugar. Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl. Stir in the buttermilk and sunflower oil. Press a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid ingredients.
Important: do not stir too intensively!
Spoon the batter into the pan and bake for about 20 minutes – Finally, decorate as you like.
