Pizza with Mascarpone and Salsicce

For the pizza with mascarpone and salsicce, either use ready-made pizza dough or prepare a homemade pizza dough according to our basic pizza dough recipe.

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and fold the edge over with your fingers 1 cm wide to create the typical bead on the edge of the pizza.

Spread the pizza with mascarpone. Peel the onion and cut it into fine rings. Cut the salsicce into slices. Top the pizza with the onion rings and salsicce, season with oregano and sprinkle with finely chopped mozzarella. Place in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.

Before serving, top the pizza with mascarpone and salsicce with fresh basil and, if desired, fresh quartered cocktail tomatoes.
