Instructions:

For the pear liqueur, put nectar and flavoring in a saucepan. Mix gelling powder 1:1 first with 2 tablespoons of sugar, then mix with the juice. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Once everything is bubbling boil add the remaining sugar.

Then stir everything back to a boil and cook, stirring, until bubbly, about 3 minutes. Let the juice cool for about 20 minutes. Stir vodka into the juice, pour into prepared bottles and seal the pear liqueur tightly. Allow the liqueur to infuse for a few days.
