For the May punch, first wash the strawberries, pat dry, clean and quarter them.

Sprinkle with the powdered sugar and stir gently once. Marinate the strawberries like this for 30 minutes.

Pour the rosé into a punch bowl, add the woodruff leaves cut into strips and let them marinate for 30 min. as well. Strain.

Mix the strawberries with the rosé and chill.

Fill up with the chilled sparkling wine just before serving, so that the May punch tingles nicely.

Strawberries taste best when they are in season with us! Use local products for your May punch, if possible!
