Peel onion and carrots. Chop onion, cut carrots into narrow strips about 5 cm long, chop apricots. Mix everything with lentils in an unperforated cooking container. Add spices, season with salt and pepper, pour broth over and steam (at 100 °C for 10-21 minutes).
