For the strawberry dumplings, mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Form dough into a roll, divide into pieces, wrap strawberries with it.
Place in boiling salted water and cook for 8 minutes. Toast the breadcrumbs with the butter and roll the dumplings in it.

If you like, you can also roll the strawberry dumplings in a crumb-nut mixture.
