Total time: 45 min

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Rinse vine leaves and carefully separate or cut off stems (do not damage leaves in the process). Cut the leaves in half. Divide mixture and place separately in boiling water. Bring water to boil once, remove leaves and drain on kitchen towels.

Boil water (1 liter) and let salt dissolve in it. Divide vine leaves evenly between two glasses (about 500 ml) and pour 400 ml of hot brine over them. Close the jars and place them in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.

After the jars have cooled, check the closures.

Harvest only really tender leaves from the grape vines.

Before using the pickled leaves further, they should be briefly watered (rinsed) and rubbed dry.
