Instructions:

For braised pears, preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.

Place pears in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle lemon zest, chopped walnuts and vanilla pulp on top. Mix syrup and white wine and pour over pears. Sprinkle with sugar.

Simmer pears on medium without lid for ninety minutes until tender. Pour the syrup over them from time to time.

Allow to cool slightly in the syrup and serve the braised pears lukewarm!

Preparation Tip:

Use untreated organic lemons for stewed pears!
