For the strawberry strudel, cut the strawberries from the stalk, quarter and mix with the sugar.flour, butter, sugar and the almonds in a bowl with your fingers to fine crumbs.

Lay out a sheet of strudel dough on a tea towel and brush with butter. Repeat this process with all the strudel sheets. You should then have 4 sheets of strudel, one on top of the other.

Spread the breadcrumbs in the center of the pastry sheets and place the strawberries on top. Fold the sides and roll the strudel. Brush with butter and bake the strawberry strudel at 160°C convection oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

Strawberry strudel tastes especially good when served warm.
