For the strawberry jam with peppercorns, mix all ingredients together and let stand preferably overnight. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Make a jelly test (Put some jam on a cold plate and put it in the refrigerator for a short time. If the jam is too thick, thin it with some water, if it is too thin, add some gelling agent).
Add 3 tablespoons of pickled green peppercorns to the finished jam and cook only briefly and/or season with freshly ground pepper to taste. Immediately pour the strawberry jam with peppercorns into prepared glasses. Drizzle with alcohol using a pipette, light and seal immediately.
Preparation Tip:
You can also add some chili peppers or some dried lavender leaves, 1TL peppermint, finely chopped lemon balm leaves or elder flowers.
