Instructions:

For the Hot BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger, first prepare the BBQ sauce.

For the Hot BBQ Sauce, seed and finely chop the jalapenos. Heat the jalapenos, ketchup, sugar and mustard in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has melted and the sauce has a creamy consistency.

Knead the mince well with the spices, form 4 burgers (each portion about 150 g) and let them stand overnight in the refrigerator.

Cut the onion into rings and the tomatoes into slices. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. Briefly toast the buns in the pan or grill as well.

Sear the burgers in the pan or on the grill, and after flipping, place the Emmental slices on top and let them melt.

Structure of the burger: Spread the bottom of the bun with BBQ sauce, put lettuce, onion and bacon, then the burger and tomato, on top another blob of mayonnaise and the top of the bun.

Preparation Tip:

As a side dish, I recommend potato wedges and cole slaw for the Hot BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger.
