For the berry puff pastry, prepare pudding according to package directions and let cool. Cut the dough into 6 squares and place about 3 tablespoons of pudding on each.
If desired, fold either 2 or all 4 ends into the center and brush with beaten egg. Bake at 175 degrees for about 15-20 minutes and then drape the berries.
For the pieces with all 4 ends folded in, simply spoon some custard in the center to hold the fruit in place.
