Remove the skin from the onion, cut into rings and sauté in hot fat until translucent. Rinse and dry the meat and add to the onions. Add the cleaned chanterelle mushrooms and sauté heartily. Add caraway seeds, bay leaf spices and juniper berries, pour in vegetable soup and simmer for about 30 minutes.
