Homemade baby food – First complementary food
For the parsnip and potato porridge, wash and peel the parsnip and potato and cut them into slices or pieces. Cook in a pot with a little water over low heat until soft. Drain and collect the cooking water.
Puree with a hand blender and add a little cooking water, depending on the desired consistency. Now stir in the oil or butter.
If necessary, let the parsnip-parsnip mash cool down to eating temperature.
