For the Qimiq Carbonara, cook the pasta of your choice in plenty of water until al dente and then strain. In a higher pan, fry the finely chopped bacon cubes. (Additional fat is not needed – unless you use a very lean bacon).
When the bacon has rendered some fat, add the garlic cloves. Now add the Qimiq and mix well. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little water. Season to taste with salt.
When the sauce is ready, fold in the cooked pasta and serve fresh.
Preparation Tip:
Refine the Qimiq Carbonara with fresh herbs. The sauce can also be prepared with cream.
