A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Prepare a syrup from water and sugar, season with a little lemon juice and simmer for another 10 min. Remove the foam. Cool. Add a quarter of a liter of water and let it boil. Add the flour and stir well. Stir the dough on low heat for 10 minutes, cool. Then gradually add the eggs to the dough form and knead well for 10 minutes. In the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan. Pipe the dough into a piping bag with a large star-shaped nozzle into the hot oil. Bake for approx. 2-3 min. until the piping is evenly brown on all sides. Remove the cakes from the fat with a slotted spoon, drain and mold in the syrup. After 10 minutes, remove the cakes from the syrup and serve.
