For the strawberry sauce from the steamer, wash and clean the strawberries and cut into cubes. Blend with powdered sugar and the pulp of the vanilla pod using a hand blender.

Cook in the Miele steamer at the following setting: Universal cooking – 95°C for 3 minutes.

If the strawberry sauce is too thin, bring to the boil in a saucepan on the stove and thicken with cornflour.

Preparation Tip:

This strawberry sauce is especially good with curd dumplings.
