For the cream slices, stir together all the ingredients for the dough. Spread on a baking tray (in a baking frame), bake at 180 °C for about 40 minutes and let cool.

Cut the cake in half crosswise, spread a thin layer of blackberry jam, spread half of the pastry cream on top and cover with the lid. Now spread the remaining cream on top. Chill the cream slice briefly and then serve.

Preparation Tip:

Instead of blackberry jam, you can use any other jam to spread on the cream slices.
