For the cinnamon pumpkin from the oven, preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash the pumpkin (you can eat the skin with the Hokkaido pumpkin, if you don’t want to do that, peel the pumpkin) and cut it into cubes.

Spread the pumpkin flesh on a baking tray and lightly salt it. Pour the orange juice on the tray, sprinkle the flesh with cinnamon and brown sugar and put butter flakes on top. Bake the pumpkin for about 30 – 40 minutes, until the pumpkin is cooked. If the pumpkin starts to color too quickly, cover the tray with aluminum. Serve the cinnamon pumpkin warm from the oven.

Preparation Tip:

Serve the cinnamon pumpkin from the oven with game meat, for example, or for vegetarians simply with a few slices of polenta.
