Instructions:

Remove the green parts of the leaves from the cabbage stems and put them aside. Cut the white parts freshly at the bottom, remove the skin slightly, rinse and cut into pieces about 4 cm long. Cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes until just tender, remove and drain. In the same water, briefly blanch the green leaf parts set aside in portions, remove, drain, squeeze lightly, then cut into strips. Mix with the ginger and spread evenly in a greased baking dish. Cut the ham into strips about 4 cm wide, spread the cabbage stems evenly on top, roll up. Place the ham rolls on the cabbage. For the glaze, mix all the ingredients well and pour over the top. Bake for about 20 minutes in the oven heated to 220 degrees.

Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
