Instructions:

Peel the potatoes, boil them and let them steam out. Then press through the potato press and mix with flour, egg yolk, starch flour and a pinch of salt to a firm dough.

Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and press a washed strawberry into the center of each. Now form dumplings from the dough pieces.

Gently roll the dumplings in enough salted water for about 10 minutes.

Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the breadcrumbs briefly. Add sugar and cinnamon. Remove the dumplings from the water, arrange on plates, cover with the cinnamon-butter mixture and serve on the spot.
