For the oatmeal, bring water to a boil and prepare vegetable stock. Add oat flakes to the stock and bring to a boil.

Peel and chop garlic, mix with oat flakes together with egg and mustard. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Form palm-sized loaves and roll in hazelnuts.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the oatmeal on all sides.

Preparation Tip:

Serve with either rice, potatoes, or vegetables of your choice with the oatmeal patties.
